Welcome to Tea and Cake Stat! We are two registered nurses who are passionate about ridiculously small sandwiches, strong tea, and proper clotted cream. We’ve eaten our way through the city and compiled the definitive list of high tea experiences in Victoria, BC.

HOW IT WORKS
We visit one high tea establishment per month. We don’t tell them we’re coming so what we get is what you’ll get. We drink the tea and eat the scones for your benefit. Then we rate the experience so that you get an easy snapshot of what’s good and what’s not in the high tea scene.

RATING
We are super classy ladies so naturally, our rating system is also highly refined. We rate each high tea experience using balls. That’s right. Tea balls. Each establishment is given a rating out of five balls with one being the lowest rating and five being the highest.

GUESTS
Occasionally we are joined by guests. While their opinion is considered, they do not influence the rating. They do, however, influence how well we behave while consuming large quantities of baked goods.
