We’re Charlotte and Angela, two registered nurses living and working in Victoria, BC.

 Originally from the UK, Charlotte trained to be a nurse in Bath. Isn’t she adorable? Charlotte came to Victoria ten years ago with her husband and three children. She works as a public health nurse, sexual health nurse, and forensic nurse examiner.

  Angela is from Nelson, BC but trained to be a nurse right here in Victoria. Look at that nurses’ cap! Angela is a perinatal nurse who currently works on special projects for Island Health. In her non-working life, she raises two humans with her husband.

   We met working public health and liked each other immediately. We share a mutual passion for women’s health and an unparalleled commitment to baked goods. Between ice cream sandwich runs to Cold Comfort on our coffee breaks and endless rounds of office cake, we recognized in each other the possibility of something more.

Right when everything was going right, Angela had to leave public health for another job. Vowing to never to let career get in the way of eating cake together, we created this blog. Because we need each other and we need tea and cake. Stat.
